Protective Gear
Protective Gear provides mainly 
stats to the player, some items of the higher equipment qualities also give boni to 
Attack or 
Mana. Protective gear is the generic term for all equipment, that uses one of the four equipment slots helmets, armors, gloves and boots.
Protective gear Tiers
Protective gear follows the same principle of the categorization in tiers:
- Tier 0 equipment without requirements
- Tier 1
equipment needs expertise 1 (Level min 15) - Tier 2
equipment needs expertise 2 (Level min 25)
While Tier 0 and Tier 1 
provide a neutral attribute bonus, the Tier 2 
gear from the Advanced Crafting update distinguishes between three different sort of protective gear:
- Light Armor
- Robe Armor
- Heavy Armor
With the final decision for a class at level 20, the player will get the possibility to skill a certain armor mastery, depending on the class. Every class has only one armor mastery, so the choice for a specific type of gear is advised.
Aquisition
Protective gear of the quality Tier 0 or Tier 1 can be bought with Gold 
at the Shop in the player's castle. The Tier 2 protective gear can be crafted with Crafting (Skill) at level 3, which makes the crafting process only accessible for blacksmiths. Other players can either gather all items and resources needed to craft in a blacksmith' shop or buy the items from auctions. The light armor set is the Hunter Armor Set, robe armor set is Clarity Armor Set and the heavy armor set is the Order Armor Set.
