Revision as of 12:06, 12 September 2019

As of May 6th, 2018, guilds are part of ChatWars. A guild is a group of players from the same castle, sharing a collective stock and are meant for collaborative crafting. To be eligible for guild creation or guild invites, players must be of at least level 15 and be in one of the basic classes. There is an additional requirement for guild invites: player must be in same castle as the guild.

Creation

Name

To create a guild, the following conditions must be true:

  • Player creating the guild needs 3000 Gold.png Gold.
  • Player must not be in a guild at that moment.
  • The desired guild name cannot be the exact same as any existing guild.
    • However, it can be of different letter case.
    • Example: Guild ABCDE exists. Player cannot create a new guild with name ABCDE. But a new guild with name AbCDe can be created.
  • The desired guild name must be from 4 to 16 characters. (Space is considered 1 character)
  • The desired guild name can have numbers.
  • The desired guild name cannot have symbols or emoji.

Note: There is NO cooldown restriction for guild creation. You can create a guild, kick yourself, and repeat this process immediately. If a player is kicked or left an existing guild, it is possible for the player to immediately create a guild.

Once the conditions are fulfilled, the command /guildcreate {name} is used to create a guild. The 3000 Gold.png will be paid and the new guild with specified name is created.

The newly-created guild is level 1 and has 0 Glory.png Glory. Alongside the guild creator, two additional players can be invited to the guild (at guild level 1). Invited players can accept the invitation by using /join.

Tag

Guild tag can be created by the leader, once the guild reaches level 4. This will be permanent and cannot be changed! Guild tags must be of two or three letters/numbers. To do that, the leader has to use the command /g_tag {TAG}.

For example, when the guild leader uses the command /g_tag A51, the guild tag will be A51. The following message will appear upon successful setting of the tag.

 Tag set succesfully: A51

The guild information will now look like this.

Guild members' name will also have the guild tag in front of it, when viewing player's hero.

Emblem

Guild emblem can also be set by the leader, once the guild reaches level 4. This is shown beside the guild tag in player's profile and in guild rankings (in addition to the castle emoji). This is NOT permanent and requires Gem.pngGems (to buy the Guild emblem cloth) for monthly (real-life month) renewal of the emblem. A single emoji is used as the guild's emblem. Different emojis are of different tiers, and require different amount of Guild emblem cloth monthly! To view the list of available emojis, the /g_emoji_list command can be used.

Note: Each Guild emblem cloth costs Gem.png150 gems! To buy, use /buy_gec command.

Once an emoji is decided, the leader can then use the /g_emoji {emoji} and /g_emoji_confirm to confirm the emoji chosen for the guild emblem. The required amount of guild emblem cloth will be used up. The emblem will now appear in the player's profile as shown below (example below shows a guild using owl emoji as guild emblem).

Join, Leave, and Kick

Joining A Guild

To join a guild, the following conditions must be true:

  • Player must be minimum level 15.
  • Player must have a class.
  • Player must be in the same castle as guild.
  • Player must not be in any other guild at that moment.
  • Player must not have any guild cooldown (from leaving/kicked from guild).
  • Guild is not full.
  • Player is not busy. Invitation cannot be sent or accepted if player is out on quests.

Once the conditions have been met, the guild leader can then send an invitation to the player using /g_invite {uid} command in the game. The player will receive an invitation message in the game, with a /join command available as shown below.

You have been invited to the Guild: ALPHABET 1234321. Press /join to accept invitation.

To accept the invitation, the invited player has to use /join command. If the player does not accept the invitation, it will be void after a certain amount of time.

You have joined ALPHABET 1234321

Note: The guild leader does not receive any notification whether the player accepted the invitation or not!

Leaving A Guild

To leave a guild, the guild member has to use the command /g_leave. The leaver will then receive a message as shown below.

Are you sure about leaving ALPHABET 1234321? If you sure, press /g_leaveconfirmation

The leaver will then have to confirm by using the /g_leaveconfirmation command. Another message will be received as shown below.

 You left ALPHABET 1234321.

The leaver will now have a 24-hour cool-down before being able to join a guild again.

Notes:

  • The guild leader does not receive any notification about the player leaving!
  • The guild leader CANNOT leave the guild via this command, and if there are any members remaining in the guild!
  • Leaving guild does not deduct any glory. (verified as of guild lv5)

Kicking A Guild Member

The guild leader is able to kick any members in the guild by using /g_kick {uid} command, regardless of the member's current state!

Upon using the command, the guild member will be kicked immediately, no confirmation command is needed! A message will be received in the guild leader's game, as shown below.

 Horse kicked.

The kicked member will receive a message for being kicked.

You have been suspended from ALPHABET 1234321

Other guild members are not notified about the kick. In addition, the guild will receive a Decadence effect. This effect will ???

Notes:

  • There is no glory loss for kicking. (verified as of guild lv5)
  • The guild leader is able to kick himself (if there are no guild members remaining). There is no way to return to guild if there is no members in it!
  • BUG: Kicking a member, while that member is still in quest, will cause the player's state to be reset to "Rest" state.
  • Decadence will stop new members from joining the guild.

Guild Levels

The following table shows the requirements for reaching the guild levels, and the new features unlocked. In order to check the level-up requirements, the /g_levelup command can be used. For level-ups that require items, the items must be wrapped and deposited into the guild.

For guild levels 1 to 4, only the items for level-up requirement are allowed to be deposited into the guild, as the warehouse is still not available. Deposited items cannot be withdrawn (guild levels 1 to 4).

Once the requirements are fulfilled, the /g_levelupconfirmation command can then be used to level up the guild.

Any excess glory CAN be carried over to next level.

Here is a sample of the role list.

Roles:
Bartender:
Alchemy.pngGecko

Commander:
Attack.pngAnt

Squire:

Treasurer:
[unassigned]

Currently there are only 4 roles available.

  • Any member can be assigned to any one role, regardless of the member's class.
  • Each role can only be assigned to one member in the guild.
  • To reassign the commander role, it has to be done via leadership transfer.
  • Roles assigning and demoting can be done via the /g_roles_edit command by the guild commander only.
Roles Level (Unlock) Purpose
Commander 1 Guild leader
Bartender 6 Manage potions and herbs in guild stock
Squire 6 Manage any other guild stock except potions/herbs
Treasurer 6 Hires advisers

Note: Members ,with an assigned role, are able to leave the guild without having to demote.

Warehouse

When a guild reaches level 5, common resource sharing is unlocked in the guild. All guild members can deposit items into the guild warehouse. Only items that can be sold on the exchange or auction, can be deposited.

Withdrawal can be done as long as the guild commander is present. If a bartender or squire has been appointed, they may withdraw items for guild members as well (item allowed to withdraw is limited to their roles).

The guild warehouse is separated into different stock categories: resources, alchemist herbs, misc, recipes, parts and others.

Guild members can use the /g_stock command to get a list of commands for viewing the different stocks. The following message will appear.

Grouped by:
/g_stock_res - resources
/g_stock_alch - alchemist herbs
/g_stock_misc - miscellaneous stuff
/g_stock_rec - items recipes
/g_stock_parts - items parts
/g_stock_other - everything else

The specific commands above have to be used to view the different categories of stock in the guild warehouse.

There is a maximum capacity of the guild warehouse. The capacity increases as the guild level up.

Capacity

The capacity of the warehouse increases as the guild level up. The capacity is calculated by the total weight of the items, not the quantity. Each item have different weight. Refer to respective item's page for their weight information.

The following table shows the weight of the warehouse. Data is available for guild level 5 onward, as that is the level that unlocks resource sharing in the warehouse.

Guild Lvl Max Weight
5 28000
6 33000
7 38000

Deposit

There is no difference in the deposition process. Guild members will still have to use the /g_deposit {item code} {qty} command to deposit the items. Equipment and weapons have to be wrapped before deposit.

Notes:

  • For guild levels 1 to 4, only items required for leveling are allowed to be deposited.
  • As of Game updates/2018-07-11, the only items that can still be deposited are the ones that can be sold in the Exchange and Auction. Pouch of gold is now disabled for deposit.
  • Reinforced, enchanted, or repaired items will have unique item ID. This unique item ID is unique to the player's inventory! Upon depositing into the guild, it will have a new unique item ID.
  • For weapons and equipment needed to level up guild, they must NOT be reinforced, enchanted, broken, or repaired! This means that the item ID should be original. The item ID cannot start with u.

Refer to Master List of Item Codes to find out the item code of all items.

Withdraw

Stock withdrawal feature is now unlocked for guild level 5. To do so, the guild commander has to use the /g_withdraw {item code} {qty} command. The game will then reply with a command for receiving of item.

Example of the message from game:

Withdrawing Hunter Gloves x 1. Recipient shall send to bot:
/g_receive bc7ugqnqqm6ju7mv4gm3
  • Withdrawing for Guild Commander
- The Guild Commander can simply forward the message received to the game bot.
  • Withdrawing for Guild Member
- The Guild Commander has to forward the message to guild member. Guild member will then forward the message to the game bot.

After forwarding the message to the game bot, irrelevant of whether the player copies out (/g_receive {code}) command, item will be transferred to the person's storage.

Notes:

  • For guild levels 1 to 4, items deposited for guild level-up CANNOT be withdrawn!
  • As of May 10th, 2019, the withdraw command now supports withdrawing of up to 8 different items. This is done via the same command.
  • Example: /g_withdraw {item code} {qty} {item code} {qty} will withdraw 2 items, each with specified quantity.
  • Another example: /g_withdraw p16 5 p17 6 27 22 p03 3 will withdraw Vial of Twilight x5, Potion of Twilight x6, Quality Cloth x22, Potion of Rage x3.
    • Duplicate items in the withdraw command will not have any effect. For example, if user tries to use /g_withdraw p16 5 p16 5, the withdrawal message will only have Vial of Twilight x5.
    • Sample withdrawal message is shown below.
Withdrawing:
Vial of Twilight x 5
Potion of Twilight x 6
Quality Cloth x 22
Potion of Rage x 3
Recipient shall send to bot:

  • The elder might change when the leader changes. Elder is linked to the guild leader.
  • There is a 1 week cooldown period after successful leadership change.
  • Leadership can be transferred to guild members only. No outsiders allowed.

Player Castle Transfer

It is not possible for players to change castle while they are currently in guild. To change castle, players have to leave their guild.

Note: It is also not possible to join a guild of other castles.

For player castle transfer for entire guild, refer to Guild Castle Transfer below.

Guild Castle Transfer

As of June 23th, 2018 hidden update, it is now possible to transfer guild and its members to other castle. To transfer to other castle, the guild must be at least level 3 and Guild Commander has to use the /g_castletransfer {castle} command. The following example message will then appear.

The transfer price would be:
 - 135 Gem.png for members
 - 500 Gem.png for the guild of your level.
--
Total: 635 Gem.png

Type /g_castletransferconfirm catpaws again to confirm.

To confirm the transfer, Guild Commander has to use the /g_castletransferconfirm {castle} command. The transfer price varies according to the guild level, number of members, and passport price. Refer to the respective sections below to find out the cost for members and guild. Do remember to add the cost from both section to get the final total cost.

Notes:

  • To unlock this feature, minimum guild level three is required.
  • Guild castle transfer is NOT a one-time feature.
  • There is a cooldown period of 1 week, before the guild is allowed to castle-transfer again.
  • The guild leader is the one who is paying for the guild castle transfer.

Price Table for Guild Levels

The following table shows the price for the different guild level. Total cost for guild castle transfer will require the price from this section and the next section.

Price for Different Guild Levels
Guild Level Cost for transfer Notes
3 300 Gem.png Gems Confirmed
4 400 Gem.png Gems Confirmed
5 500 Gem.png Gems Confirmed
6 600 Gem.png Gems Confirmed
7 700 Gem.png Gems Confirmed

Price Table for Members

The price for EACH member is an estimate 10.45% decrease from passport price, and rounded off to nearest whole number.

Formula: Price per member = (89.55% x Passport Price) round off

Passport price maximum value is 84 Gem.png Gems, minimum value is 10 Gem.png Gems. Therefore, per member price for guild castle transfer will always be 75 Gem.png Gems for strongest castle, and 9 Gem.png Gems for weakest castle.

Prices for each castle will change frequently. The following table is just an example. To find the latest castle change member price, go to tavern to check passport price and calculate according to the formula above. Alternatively, ask your guild commander to use the /g_castletransfer {castle} command to find out the total price.

SAMPLE Price Per Member
Castle Passport Price Cost Per Member Notes
Potato 84 Gem.png Gems 75 Gem.png Gems Highest cap
Wolfpack 79 Gem.png Gems: 71 Gem.png Gems
Dragonscale 66 Gem.png Gems 59 Gem.png Gems
Sharkteeth 74 Gem.png Gems 66 Gem.png Gems
Highnest 70 Gem.png Gems 63 Gem.png Gems
Deerhorn 46 Gem.png Gems 41 Gem.png Gems
Moonlight 10 Gem.png Gems 09 Gem.png Gems Lowest cap

Note: When calculating this portion, you should use the DESTINATION castle's price. It is NOT THE PRICE OF YOUR CURRENT CASTLE!

Calculating Total Cost

The total cost for guild castle transfer consists of 2 parts: cost for guild, and cost per member. These cost can be derived based on the info given in sections above.

Once the cost are calculated. Add them together to get the total cost for guild castle transfer.

Formula: Guild Castle Transfer cost = cost for guild + (cost per member x number of member)

For example, a Wolfpack guild level 5 (with 15 members) wants to transfer to Sharkteeth castle. The cost is as shown below.

Guild Castle Transfer cost = 500 + (66 x 15) = 1490 Gem.png Gems
