When the game was first released, the Moontatoes alliance dominated the game. Dragonscale, along with the rest of the castles, panicked and created a counter-alliance. Thus, the first Dragonscale alliance was formed with Wolfpack, Sharkteeth, Deerhorn and Highnest. The alliance managed to deal with Moontatoes. However, they later discovered that Highnest was betraying them secretly by ordering their squads to attack their allies while they were trying to defend.

Highnest was kicked out and so it left with Wolf+Sharks+Dragon+Deer VS. Moonlight+Potato+Highnest. Later on, Deer left the alliance due to ranking issues and another pair of alliance began to form: Wolf+Sharks+Dragon VS. Moonlight+Potato+Highnest+Deer. On January 26th because of alliance issues on PHD side, Moonlight officially joined WDS alliance forming WiSDoM in short: WDSM.

Numerous opinionated the game is starting to become stale and would like to see changes to keep up the hype. It was confirmed by the Potato's leader on June 20th that the alliance is changed. Dragons remain to fight along with Sharks and Wolf and gave blessings to handover Moonlight. Less than a week later, due to some complications, the castles are back to the old alliance.
